I had a dream I was working for a company I used to work for and doing a good job as the role I'd applied for. I was working in a team with 2 other people and they kept making out that I wasn't doing a good job because I was quiet in the team dynamic and they were both very loud. The manager started saying that I am not aligned with the vision and explained why - selling gold to new clients. I spoke up and said actually that is not in my job spec and that is not what was discussed in the interview process I haven't applied for a Sales role I am a recruiter and doing very well as a recruiter. The guy who usually squashes me actually respected my opinion. The woman looked embarassed. I said to her your just using this as an excuse cause you don't like me. She then proceeded to make remarks which positioned herself above me. She said look you're in poverty I get it. I said I am not in poverty - I said you are unaware of my other income streams. I said also £350 into my own LTD is far from poverty. She said condesendingly - yes it is poverty Sofi.
Dreams often serve as a mirror to our subconscious, reflecting our emotions, thoughts, and concerns that may not be fully acknowledged in our waking life. Let's dissect the various elements of your dream to interpret its potential significance.
Returning to a Former Workplace:
Role and Recognition:
Communication Dynamics:
Discrepancy in Roles:
Standing Up for Yourself:
Approval and Dismissal:
Financial Security and Self-Worth:
Self-Expression and Validation: The dream highlights a quest for validation and respect in your professional life. It suggests a need to ensure that your true capabilities are recognized and that your professional boundaries are respected.
Conflict vs. Resolution: The mixed reactions from your colleagues indicate an ongoing internal conflict about how much to conform versus how much to assert your true self. The resolution, albeit partial, with some colleagues recognizes the steps you are taking towards self-assertion and authenticity.
Economic Stability and Self-Respect: The discussion about income streams suggests concerns or affirmations regarding financial security and self-worth. It might reflect a desire to defend against societal judgments or criticisms.
Your dream represents a journey towards standing up for and asserting your professional identity and personal worth, despite criticisms or misunderstandings. It encourages embracing your uniqueness and finding balance in how you communicate your value to others, navigating through the complexities of perception, expectation, and self-confidence.
